We present a case study, office space created for TACTIC Sport in Girona, realized by Belighting with ONOK luminaires. In these offices, as in any other workspaces, where we spend many hours at a time, it is essential to be able to work comfortably at all levels, in particular we focus on visual comfort
.We talk about visual comfort when we avoid vision problems derived from the environment and it is precisely these environmental parameters that we must control in order to achieve an adequate UGR index in the room. The UGR (Unified Glare Rating) indicates the degree of glare
caused by certain luminaires and its value depends on several factors, which are listed below. The luminance of the environment, i.e. the degree of reflectivity of walls, floors and other flat surfaces, as well as the size of the room itself and, of course, the position of the observer and the luminaire and their arrangement in the space. With these points clear we have acted in 3 ways
to condition the lighting correctly. Type of luminaire, distribution of luminaires and their position.Type of luminaire: Perfil LINE
It is this feature that we will focus on in the following project.
We installed our LINE profiles in the project, with a homogeneous light distribution that spreads the luminous flux along its length instead of concentrating it in a single point.
Distribution and position of luminaires
The Line profiles are evenly distributed throughout the room, avoiding spaces lacking with light but differentiating work areas from passageways.
With these spatial and lighting characteristics, the room becomes a success story in terms of glare treatment, with large windows in its architecture and a high number of strategically placed light points from different directions, reducing the UGR
below the standard according to the regulations in this type of rooms.
